RevolutionZA is a South African DayZ server tailored for players who love the game but don't always have time for the grind. Our server is far from the Vanilla DayZ experience—it's a mod-based playground designed to deliver an engaging and balanced mix of PvE and PvP. Whether you're a lone wolf or part of a squad, we’ve created a space where you can learn the map, complete objectives, and enjoy a sense of progression without the fear of losing everything you’ve built.
What Sets Us Apart?
Our server was meticulously planned and developed over four months, focusing on creating a unique environment that caters to all types of players. We’ve crafted a system where you can safely embark on missions, knowing your base is secure from being destroyed. However, we embrace the reality of risk: leave a door open, and a thief can steal your gear. Just like in South Africa, if there’s a gap, someone will find it!
The Origin of RevolutionZA
As a group of friends who enjoyed playing on PvE servers, we found ourselves always helping other server owners improve their setups. When many of these servers started shutting down, we realized we needed to create a space to keep the community alive. Thus, RevolutionZA was born—a server built by players, for players, to continue the spirit of DayZ in our unique style.
Our Hardware—Built for Performance
We run on top-tier hardware to ensure a smooth and lag-free experience. Our server is powered by an Intel i9 14900k, equipped with 128GB of DDR5 RAM, a blazing-fast 2TB NVMe SSD, and cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler, all backed by a reliable 1200W PSU. This setup allows us to host a stable and high-performance server for all our players.
Why Do We Ask for Donations?
Running a server like RevolutionZA is no small feat—it’s a passion project. We've invested over R75,000 in hardware and an additional R15,000 in custom mods and developer assistance to bring our vision to life. While this isn't our full-time job, we’re committed to maintaining and improving the server to offer the best experience possible. Donations help us cover these ongoing costs and ensure the server remains live and evolving for everyone to enjoy.
